Important Safety Reminder
Always trust your instincts when meeting new people. If something feels wrong, it probably is. Meet in public places, tell someone where you're going, and don't hesitate to leave if you feel uncomfortable. In emergencies, call 911 immediately.
Blocking Users
How to Block Someone
- Go to the user's profile
- Tap the three dots menu in the top right
- Select "Block User"
- Confirm your decision
What Happens When You Block Someone
- They can no longer send you messages
- They won't see your profile or activity
- You won't see their events or posts
- They can't find you in search results
- All previous conversations are hidden
Unblocking a User
- Go to Settings > Privacy > Blocked Users
- Find the user you want to unblock
- Tap "Unblock" next to their name
- You can now interact with them again
Reporting Issues
When to Report
- Inappropriate messages or behavior
- Fake profiles or catfishing
- Harassment or bullying
- Spam or promotional content
- Events that seem suspicious or unsafe
- Content that violates community guidelines
How to Report a User
- Go to their profile or open your conversation
- Tap the three dots menu
- Select "Report User"
- Choose the reason for reporting
- Provide additional details if needed
- Submit the report
How to Report an Event
- Open the event details page
- Tap the three dots menu
- Select "Report Event"
- Explain why the event should be reviewed
- Our team will investigate within 24 hours
Privacy Settings
Profile Visibility
- Control who can see your full profile
- Choose between Public, Friends Only, or Custom
- Hide specific information like your hometown
- Decide if strangers can see your profile photo
Event Privacy
- Choose who can see which events you attend
- Hide your attendance from specific people
- Control notifications about your RSVPs
- Set default privacy for new event RSVPs
Message Settings
- Control who can send you direct messages
- Block messages from users who aren't friends
- Set up message filters for inappropriate content
- Choose notification preferences for different message types
Location Privacy
- Control how precise your location sharing is
- Choose to share city-level vs exact location
- Turn off location sharing entirely if desired
