Quick Fixes to Try First

  • Force close and reopen the hulofuse app
  • Check your internet connection (WiFi or cellular)
  • Restart your device
  • Update hulofuse to the latest version

Push Notifications

Not receiving push notifications

Try these solutions:

For iOS:

Go to Settings > Notifications > hulofuse and ensure Allow Notifications is on
Check that Badges, Sounds, and Banners are enabled as desired

For Android:

Go to Settings > Apps > hulofuse > Notifications and turn on notifications
Ensure the notification categories you want are enabled

For both platforms:

Ensure notifications are enabled in hulofuse's in-app settings menu
Restart the app and try again
Check if Do Not Disturb mode is enabled on your device
Update to the latest version of hulofuse

Getting too many notifications

Try these solutions:

1.Go to Profile > Settings > Notifications to customize which alerts you receive
2.Turn off notifications for specific event types or friend activities
3.Set quiet hours to pause notifications during certain times
4.Mute individual chat conversations if needed

Notifications are delayed

Try these solutions:

1.Check your internet connection
2.Disable battery optimization for hulofuse in device settings
3.Ensure background app refresh is enabled for hulofuse
4.Log out and log back in to refresh your notification settings

Chat & Messaging

Messages not sending

Try these solutions:

1.Check your internet connection (WiFi or cellular data)
2.Close and reopen the chat conversation
3.Force close the app and reopen it
4.Check if the recipient has blocked you
5.Try sending the message again after a few minutes

Can't join event chat rooms

Try these solutions:

1.Make sure you've RSVP'd to the event
2.Check if the event is still active and hasn't ended
3.Refresh the event page by pulling down
4.Log out and log back in to refresh your chat access

Messages showing as unread

Try these solutions:

1.Open the conversation and scroll to the bottom
2.Pull down to refresh the chat
3.Mark the conversation as read manually
4.Clear the app cache in device settings
5.Update to the latest version of hulofuse

Location & GPS

Location not working

Try these solutions:

For iOS:

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services and ensure it's enabled
Find hulofuse in the list and select "While Using App" or "Always"

For Android:

Go to Settings > Location (or Privacy > Location) and turn on location
Go to Settings > Apps > hulofuse > Permissions > Location and allow access

For both platforms:

Check if location services are enabled globally on your device
Restart your device to refresh GPS connections
Try moving to an area with better GPS signal (outdoors)

Events showing wrong distances

Try these solutions:

1.Update your home location in hulofuse settings
2.Allow hulofuse to access your precise location
3.Check if your device location is accurate in Maps app
4.Refresh the events page by pulling down
5.Log out and log back in to refresh location data

Map not loading events

Try these solutions:

1.Check your internet connection
2.Zoom out and back in on the map
3.Switch to list view and back to map view
4.Clear the app cache and restart
5.Update to the latest version of hulofuse

Photo Upload

Can't upload profile photo

Try these solutions:

1.Check your internet connection
2.Ensure the photo is under 10MB in size
3.Try using a different photo format (JPEG, PNG)
4.Allow hulofuse to access your photo library in device settings
5.Restart the app and try again

Photo upload fails or takes too long

Try these solutions:

1.Switch to a stronger WiFi connection
2.Reduce photo size by taking a new photo or using photo editing
3.Clear some storage space on your device
4.Close other apps to free up memory
5.Try uploading during off-peak hours

Uploaded photo appears blurry

Try these solutions:

1.Use a higher resolution photo
